advent bottles....

I registered for them. I was just wondering if you really liked them, for those that are using them?
My friend just registered for cheap ones, and they seemed to work fine.

I have the Playtex Drop in's and the Advent and I went to using only Advent because DS seemed to like them better.

Re: advent bottles....

Avent bottles leak around the ring...alot!!! Dr.Brown's have too many parts to clean. You're probably better off going with cheaper ones!

Re: advent bottles....

I really liked the Dr. Browns Bottles. Ryan never spit up and wasn't too gasy. I did try Avent and he didn't like them. They say each baby is different and really depends what he/she likes too.

We have been using Avent bottles for 19 months and we love them. The only time they leak is if you tighten them too tight. Otherwise we have never had a problem with them.

Mine leaked until I actually raed the directions- you can't fasten them too tight. Since then no leaks- I like them! I used to use drop ins and I hated burping the bag!

I liked them and all of the little attachments that go with them. For leaky bottles, you are tightening them too much.

One thing I really liked is that their customer service department emails me back within the same day for any questions I had.

I liked them and I liked that they were easy to clean. But yes they do leak if you tighten them too much. Go figure.

Re: advent bottles....

I love my advents bottles. They don't leak for me, the trick is not to tighten them too much. Mine don't leak at all. When she does get a bottle she goes back to the breast with ease, and doesn't have any more gas then when I feed her from the boob.

I used them and Playtex ventaire. No problems with either or with leaks. I like them.

Re: advent bottles....

I have used the avent bottles for a year now and I cant tell you how annoying the leaking is. I know not to tighten them but it still seems to happen. I have moved on the to Avent toddler cups and have the same issues. I will never be using Avent again. My son also doesnt like their pacifiers anymore, he prefers the nuk. Funny how their tastes change.

My daughter didn't do well with them but she also had reflux. We used Dr. Brown's.
