Advice for those installing a new fence
When they are finished make sure you keep track of the materials that are left over because they are supposed to deduct it from your total. We had our fence installed yesterday and i noticed the men putting 2 full panels back on the truck....so I asked DH if we paid for those and he wasn't sure so we called the company and got the run around for 30 minutes until finally they contacted the driver and deducted 200 off the total. If we didn't say anything they wouldn't have either and i totally got the impression that people don't usually notice this...... but hey thats $200 extra in my pocket.

Re: Advice for those installing a new fence
I guess everyone out there is ready to scr*w you if it means them making extra money. This is why it's so hard to hire contractors. You have to watch over them 100% of the time. Really not fair. Good for you that you caught it. Glad you got your money back for those pieces.

Thanks for the advice! We have a new fence going in on Monday so I will make sure I take a look to see what is left over!
