Advice needed- two miscarriages in a row
Hi ladies!
I'm posting to reach out for some advice from a family member of mine who has had miscarriages.
She has a son- easily conceived and easy pregnancy.
Then, she tried for six months when her son turned two and she lost the baby at 6 weeks.
Right away, before she even got AF again, she conceived again. Her doctor THINKS she is eight weeks along, she has SEVERE morning sickness, and her Hcg level is 95,000. But sonogram is only showing about 5 weeks- yolk sac but no HB. Also, another sonogram 5 days later showed no growth. She is going for a better sono next week to see if there is any change but she is preparing herself that might have to have a D&C.
Here is where we need the advice- if she has the D&C- what tests should she request on the embryo tissue?
Also, can you recommend a Dr. that will test her for why she is having "recurrent" losses? Things like immune issues, blood clotting factors, etc?
We would really appreciate a recommendation. Our prayers for all of you that your dreams come true.
Thank you so much.

Braverman or SIRM are the go-to doctors for recurrent loss/immune issues.

If she is able to get pregnant but having a hard time staying pregnant, I recommend Dr. Kofinas who is a perinatologist.
