advil during pregnancy??????
anyone ever hear of this? Went to my first appt today and on the approved list of meds was advil until 30 weeks. I was shocked. I have never heard this before. I forgot to ask her about it.

advil during pregnancy??????
I was always under the impression that advil was a no-no and that Tylenol could be used in moderation when needed (even now some reports are saying to avoid Tylenol). who knows anymore.

Ob gyn said no Advil. But I had migraines and the neurologist said it was ok until third trimester. Never took it tho.

Technically it is safe until the 3rd tri.
However they just give it the blanket no for fear of people not paying attention to the 3rd trimester rule

This - I took it with DS for the first 2 trimesters because of fibroids that were degenerating. It was the only thing I could take to cope with the pain.

It has something to do with how the heart tubes close later in the third trimester - it interferes with the process. I just stick to Tylenol throughout pregnancy though.

she gave me the list lol.
I won't use it b/c I have never heard it but apparently it's safe. Just weird #3 and have never heard it lol
