AF already? And a ? about the day 2 start and monitoring with Cornell

patch one was Saturday..Ganirelex yesterday and I'm ready for patch 2 today and last night I had some light brown spotting.

I knew it was going to come early but wow, wasn't expecting this aready.

About the monitoring with Cornell:

I went last week around 8:30 and I waitd about 30 minutes. I didn't think that was bad considering all I needed was some blood done.

Is it always advisable to get there as early as possible to get out quick? Is it less busy at say 6:30 or 7am?

They start at 7am-During the cycle that I was there I would get there at like 6:15 and I was the first one there for about a half an hour. I found that sometimes even if I was there first they called others before more, not sure why that was.

Are you having a sono too? If it's just blood you could be in and out but sometimes waiting for a sono takes longer.

I waited a month b/c I had late ovulation and I was afraid that AF would come early and he told me to wait b/c he would cancel if AF came early...so I would double check

I didn't get it yet, just some slight brown spotting but I sometimes get that before I get AF.

Sono too I guess, It will be day 2 so all aboard!

I knew my Cornell peeps would log on eventually.

I wish AF would come. I've taken all three shots and still nothing.
How are you feeling on the ganirelex? I'm a bit loopy I think.

I'm ok though. I feel pretty much the same.

I think the IVF nurse said even if I get AF to keep taking the shots.

When/If I get AF, I will call to be sure I'm on the right time table.

its patch/ganerelix/ change patch, ganerelix/ ganerelix/ change patch...then just leave that 3rd and last patch on until AF comes...it AF does not come after a few days call them!

eta- no I am second guessing myself b/c I never make it that far!! OY!

I have about 8 total. I guess they ordered a lot for me..maybe they're not optimistic about this cycle.

I did ganirelex again tonight. This one hurt.

2nd patch...2 shots..tomorrow one more shot and then Wed another patch.

which protocol are you girls doing?

With straight EPP you will use the ganerelix again later in the cycle so you don't ovulate

If you are doing EPP/MDL you just use the 3 shots during priming and the lupron stops you from ovulating
