AF-like cramps question...
First, thank you all for answering my zillion questions! Besides my doc, I have nobody else to ask right now, b/c nobody knows we're PG. You've all been more helpful than you know. I did buy 3 PG books but I feel like everytime I look up a question, it doesn't have an answer to it.
For those of you who had AF type cramps before and after your BFP...how long do they stick around?

Both my pg's they lasted til about 11-12 weeks, then came back at 16-18 weeks.

I still feel them from time to time but I would say not as much after 9-10 weeks.

I still get the cramps from time to time. I am a little over 8 weeks. I think it is fairly common.

Throughout the first trimester. It's your uterus expanding. Once you "pop", they'll ease up.

Ditto. Mine went until 12 ish weeks & went away for a little & then after I had my big "growth" (so far) they were back for a few days around 15 - 16 weeks.

Mine lasted continually till about 8 weeks ....Then infrequently but still there sometimes until about 11 weeks.

the pregnancy books that i've read have all freaked me out about this - they all say to expect AF cramps around the time you would have missed your period. no mention of cramps at any other time except when discussing miscarriage 
so all i have to say is... thank goodness for this board!!! SO many people have had AF cramps well into their pregnancy. as for me, i got them bad during weeks 5 and 6. they are much less frequent now in week 7, but still come out every once in a while.
i wouldn't worry about it, seems normal!
