AF post d&c

Is it safe to assume that my hcg is zero (or close to it) if I woke up this morning with AF?


I'm so ready to put this whole ordeal behind me and move on. DH & I decided to take a long break and this is the first step in that process.

Please tell me that I'm no longer considered "pregnant". My drs office is closed or else I'd call them and ask for confirmation.

Not definitely - I know friends that have gotten AF withough being at zero. But, in most cases I think your #s have to be pretty low to get AF. I didn't get AF until 6/7 weeks after my D&C.

I don't know if your beta is at 0 but it's definitely a step in the right direction! Congrats!

congrats on AF! that is great news.

for some reason i thought after a d&c your levels go back to 0 right away (like within a few days as long as all the products of conception were removed)? or no? i am SO confused when people talk about the beta #s. i never had any bloodtests (that i am aware of) to check the any levels during or after my pregnancy

but in any case, i would assume your levels are super low or at 0 since you menstruated - which is great!

Thanks girls. I assumed that they'd be somewhere around the 0-5 range; anywhere that my body would know that it isn't pregnant anymore and that's why AF is here. This is all so confusing! I just want "regular" cycles again. My body has been so messed up for the last 4 months- I'm ready for some normalcy.

I finally POAS to see if it would be negative b/c that's when I knew it had to be close to 0 or the hcg wouldn't have been picked up.
