af question..

we had our mc in late june and i had a really painful short period in mid to late july and i have not gotten one since..i dont think im pg..i just was curious if the mc throws ur cycle off and if the first few af are worse than usual cause the last one i had symptoms were bad,cramping,breast pain etc

I have not gotten AF since the miscarriage I had three weeks ago, but I also had a miscarriage in 2007. For that one, my cycles were all messed up. I would think I had AF then two weeks later I'd bleed again and then a week after that, etc for 2 months. Then I didn't get AF for 50 days or something like that and called my OB and she put me on Prometrium to bring it on. I had to do that twice then the next cycle I conceived my DD.

MY first Af after my MC was more painful and heavy. Unfortunately, you just never know how your cycle will be after a mc....for some women their cycle gets shorter and other's it gets longer

After my first m.c my cycles got longer and I would ovulate later.

I wouldnt say my AFs after m/c were worse or heavier but my cycle changed completely. I went from a 32 day cycle and O on CD 20 to a 28 day cycle and O on CD 14.
