AF where the F*** are you?
Hi girls new to this sight -- been member of LIW for awhile (planning the wedding was soo much more fun) anyway, my first pregnancy and I had a missed miscarriage-- found out at 10 weeks on 3-3-10-- no heartbeat and stopped growing at 8w6d.. had D&C... I am 5 weeks post D&C and no AF--- prior to ebing pregnant I was 28 days to a tee since I got my period at age 11--- feeling down REALLY down.. I know everyone is diff but it seems that a lot of women get their AF around 4 weeks post D&C... does this hurt never end? AGHHHHH!!!!!
p.s so glad I found this board-- in all honesty don't know what took me soo long to check LIW which led me here...
baby dust to all... at this point I am just looking for some AF dust :(

Re: AF where the F*** are you?
I'm sorry for your loss!
For everyone it's different when AF arrives, it can be 4- 8 weeks on average. You will prob get it in the next 2 weeks or so then.
Cycle change alot after a m/c. For most of us our cycles were not the same, they get longer or shorter, date of ovulation changed. Also, for some of us our first period after the miscarriage was extremely heavy and more intense cramps...just an FYI.
This board is great and these ladies have helped us all get through this time!
for you to get AF!

I'm so sorry for your loss. This board is wonderful support! As for AF..it's tricky. Like a pp said its after you stop bleeding not th procedure itself. I know it's frustrating but hang in there. It stinks not knowing what will come next.

Re: AF where the F*** are you?
WOW so much of your story reminds me of mine. I too had a missed miscarriage at around 10 or 11 weeks. No heartbeat (though we had a heartbeat about 2 weeks prior) at a doctor's appt.
In any event... I got my period 4 weeks and 2 days after the DNC. But I do hear it can take up to about 6 weeks to come. Hang in there.. you still have some time before you should be worried. I know how anxious you are for AF though..... I remember thinking.. I can't wait for my first AF to come so it can be all over with. But even after AF... it's just never "all over with".
My body is TOTALLY different since being pregnant. So I don't expect things to run as they did prior.
I'm sooooo sorry for what you are going through. I know it's difficult. Just try to stay calm and stress free... as much as you can.
Oh and I am also a LIW bride.

Re: AF where the F*** are you?
I know how you feel, I am at 8 weeks past m/c and still not AF for me. My cycles have never been 'regular' so that may have something to do with it. But I PRAY AF comes soon.

I am so sorry for your loss. How are you doing otherwise? THe loss of a pregnancy is not easy. I am so thankful for this board and beable to talk about my loss. I haven't been able in awhile with work in all.
I just got AF exactly 1 month from my DNC. Everyones body is different, you will get it. After I got off of BC my body hasn't been the same. I have irregular periods for the last 6yrs.

Re: AF where the F*** are you?
Hi! My story is pretty similar to yours as well. I had a D & C during the first week of March and no AF. I had spotting about a week and a half ago but nothing since. It is making me more and more upset with each day b/c I am always worrying about it. My cycles were always very regular and I didnt bleed much after the procedure so I thought I would have got AF by now.
We never had a heartbeat. It was such a shock when we found out in the Dr's office because I never imagined something would be wrong. It was the absolute perfect timing for me to get PG so of course that all went out the window. I was around 7 weeks when I had the procedure.
The past few days have been really hard because I want to be a family so badly and I'm so afraid it will never happen for us as unfortunately we have unrelated medical issues to deal with! Just wanted to vent and share my story.
Hope your AF comes soon!!

Re: AF where the F*** are you?
the wait continues... how ironic we spend most of our lives dreading our periods and now I have never wanted it so bad!!
