Aftercare from your OB

Some of you might recall I had major issues with my OB and will be changing in the future.

After I miscarried at home (9 weeks 6 days but baby was measuring 7 weeks), I had an appt with my OB 3 days later. She did a sono and confirmed that I had passed all the tissue. She didn't take my blood or anything else.

I am having other medical issues and I still test positive on a pregnancy test 5 weeks later.

Has your OB seen you regularly to test your HCG levels? Are you getting any additional aftercare of than what I mentioned above?

I read online that it can take 4-6 weeks to go back to zero, so I'm not overly concerned - but just thinking that I am not being monitored for this and not sure if I am supposed to be? Chat Icon

my OB did a sono and d&c in the office after i miscarried on my own because there was some tissue left.

I had bloodwork 3 weeks after and my hcg was 2. I know youre going thru a lot but you might want to see another ob to do blood. it might be nothing though, cuz maybe since you had a natural mc it takes more time for the body to adjust? I liked the guy who did my dnc, he was in garden city. if u want a recco, fm me.
Eta they did b/w on me cuz they needed.to rule out a molar pregnany. Not sure if post mc bloodwork is standard

I miscarried naturally at 8 weeks. I went to my dr a few days later. He did an us and confirmed everything passed. I did not have bloodwork taken.

Same here. She did an ultrasound and said everything had passed and I had no bloodwork done either.
