Afternoon Nap--Gone???
When did DC lose the afternoon nap?
I realized yesterday DS has not napped in the afternoon in oh, probably about two weeks, except for an occasional catnap.
He is a little over 9 months. I thought they usually kept this until about a year?
He does sleep 11 hours most nights and takes a morning nap (about 1 hour) everyday. Occaionally the morning nap runs longer. I can't say he seems overly sleepy in the afternoon, not until it gets close to bedtime anyway.

you are so lucky! I can never get anything done anymore, especially since he just isn't happy unless he's crawling and pulling up. Getting tired of doing housework at 9 or 10 pm at night.

Re: Afternoon Nap--Gone???
My DS is 20 months and takes 1 nap a day for about 2 hours. Can you get rid of the AM nap and just put him down in the afternoon? Months ago, I cut out the AM nap and just let him nap in the afternoon.

Re: Afternoon Nap--Gone???
Good idea, but he gets so cranky and starts falling down while crawling when he misses his morning nap. I think he really needs this one. The afternoon nap, eh, he seems okay without it for the most part.
I'm the one who wishes he would take one, or take a longer morning nap so I could do some things around the house. Ah well, he's a healthy boy, I can't complain!
