ahh help! left my lupron out!
Ok so I went to the RE office today and had to bring my lupron with me and went to work after and totally forgot to put it back in the refrg. The bottle is still ice cold when I took it out of my bag and I just put it back in the refrg now. I called the RE office but the ivf nurse are out to lunch. My question is you think my lupron is still good? Like I said the bottle is really really cold still its not warm at all. Ugh I hope its ok I have to take it in the AM again!! Thanks ladies!!

I'm sure you are fine, as long as it was still cold. I honestly think its fine at room temp also. And its cold out today, even if it was longer. Sometimes they say frig for warm weather but don't tell anyone this. Though sometimes people are on lupron longer than 30 days and maybe that is when it would be a problem. Relax and don't stress you are fine.

You are fine...it just can't be left at room temp for a long time - like 24 hours - don't worry about it.

Re: ahh help! left my lupron out!
Lupron does not need to be refrigerated and actually works best at room temperature...
I never put my Lupron in the refrigerator (kept it in the medicine cabinet in the bathroom)...no need for refrigerator.....you only need to keep your FSH medication in the fridge....
HTH!

I was told it needs to be refrig. after first use.
To the OP - I think it should be ok as long as it wasn't out too long and is not "warm".

I was told not to put my lupron in the fridge when I used it last year. I was on it for about 2 weeks I think and it didn't go in the fridge once. HTH!

Re: ahh help! left my lupron out!
I'm confused now!!
My pharmacy (which is specifically an IF pharmacy) - labeled it that it must be refrig. after opening
I guess as long as it cannot harm anythign it's fine...

Re: ahh help! left my lupron out!
My nurse told me room temp. is ok as long it isn't like 90 degrees. Should be ok! Mine came already mixed in a baggie with an icepak, so I looked it up online and said it needs to be refrigerated. I asked the nurse and she said if it at room temp. it is ok, just not too warm. I did keep it in the fridge though!
