Ahhh - the joys of a toddler asserting his independence....
After dinner, Cailen takes his bath. He loooves bath time. so, he jumps in my arms, all excited, to get carried upstairs.
RUNS to the bathtub, doing his happy bath time dance. I draw the water, and as I try to remove his sneakers, he has this massive hissy fit. Refuses to let me take his sneakers off.
He managed to communicate to me that tonight, it was his intention to take a bath... fully clothed, sneakers and all.
After a little "coercing" (translation - sitting on the kid wrangling the clothes off of him) we managed to see eye to eye. Or, my eye and his foot, elbow, and whatever other body part was flailing around....
Ahhhh... Adorable.

ahhh...don't you just love the independence. It's it just so cute? (can you hear that I'm saying it through clenched teeth?)
When wrestling your toddler ALWAYS protect the face. I've had two black eyes already. One was truely by accident. The other I'm not so sure about
