Ahhh the fun comments have begun...
I was just told by a teacher that I am definitely having a girl. I said oh yeah? We have been thinking boy but who knows. She said oh when I had my girls I carried wide, with my boys it was all up front. Really? THANKS so much for that! ugh and 2 days before I leave for the bahamas and have to put on a bathing suit.
Not that I don't know that people say that-all up front w/ a boy and all over with a girl--but I don't need someone to LOOK at me and say that. so annoying!

Yeah, I don't know why people are so cooky like that. Try not to take what people to say to heart. Wive's tales are just that, tales. Not true at all and every pg is different, even on the same woman. Who knows, this is my first but I honestly do not think I will be that type to base my pg on everyone else's. Whenever I do a baby pool, I make a guess out of my arse! There is no way of knowing anything. And who is she to be observing your body like that? Yeah, she knows your curves. Silly lady!

DW and I almost got into an argument with our pastor (she was a temp, and we didn't really like her much anyway....) about DS. We had ultrasound pictures, and an amnio, so we saw the chromosomes. She still insisted we were having a girl.....

i had a woman tell me that i looked like i was wide last week to. Then the next day she said "wow, you look huge today"- i just laugh, i know its temporary.

ahh the lovely world of people with the foot in their mouth. Love the whole comment "gee you dont look pregnant from behind, but whooo the front you do".. thanks i guess only half of me is pregnant than.

i feel your pain - being a teacher might be the worst - all those ladies each day checking you out.... i had that each day as well..
"oh you really got big" was the nice one i received after winter break...
smile and say thanks... they have no clue that their comments are soooo not needed.. haha

the rude comments run rampant in my school. i've gotten the same girl comment as you but i also got "you're big for 18 weeks" and my favorite "you look so small in front because you're carrying it all in the back." thanks for the confidence booster... 
just ignore the comments. they most likely don't mean anything by them but when you get pregnant it seems to open the door for people to comment on your body where it would never be acceptable otherwise.

It's nice to hear that I'm not alone! I know she didn't mean anything by it, it's just funny to me how people say things and it's like they don't even realize what they are saying. Oh well I have another 15 weeks to go so I'm sure I'll hear it all.

 I can relate! I was told by one friend at a family function this weekend that I am the poster woman for pregnancy and how great I look. Literally 2 minutes later and maybe 8 steps away, my aunt and cousin told me I MUST be having a girl because my *** got so much bigger. NICE, GREAT, THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HATE the comments- even the ones that are supposed to be nice-
I had the whole human resources dept. at my job laughing at me on Monday since they swore when I turned one way I looked normal and the next hugely pregnant. They were hysterical laughing and I just wanted to bop them!
