AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
Thats a sigh of relief from me!!!!
I just got off the phone with Megans new pediatricians office. Everything is done. Shes all registered and her 18 month appt is Feb 22nd. I cannot tell you how much better I feel now. I was always so nervous going to her other doctor, everyone there was nasty, I was dreading going back. I dont think thats the feeling your supposed to get from your babys doctor.
Her new doctor was actually my brother and sisters pediatrician. She is lovely!! She just started accepting our insurance.
One question though....when I asked if I needed to get her medical records, the secretary told me that I didnt need to, as long as I had her immunization card, that was fine. I am going to call her old doctor in about an hour to tell them I wont be returning, but do you really think its ok that I dont get her records?

i would ask you get a copy mailed to you for your own file and then give new ped a copy also

I would get her records.. just so in future if you did need them they will all be in one place, instead of having to try and remember what docs she has seen in past.

I would get a copy of her records. Don't be surprised if they charge you for it though....some docs do that.
