AHHHHH I'm so sick I can't take it!!!
Why do I have to get the absolute worst head cold right before my due date. I was soooo desparate to get a little sleep last night I used a nasal spray  I know we aren't supposed to but I couldn't breathe through my nose and my throat hurt so bad I couldn't breathe through my mouth and the saline stuff they said I could use is worthless!!! I hope I didn't hurt the baby 
What happens if I go into labor sick? Would they not let me hold the baby?
Just curious....

Oh Jodi- I'm sure they will let you hold the baby- she is getting her immunity from you! 
I'm sorry you aren't feeling well- don;t worry about the nasal spray- I'm taking Senekot, stool softener and gasX all of the time- I worry too- but I'm sure your baby  is just fine and will come out in a few days as soon as your cold goes away!

This may be one of my "theories" that DH always makes fun of me for, but I swear I read this... Your body won't let you deliver sick. It's mother natures way of making sure that both you and baby are healthy at time of delivery.
 Feel Better. Try Vicks Vapor Rub. That might clear you up.

You might just be better before you give birth. Your due date isnt for 8 days now. Dont worry yourself too much. Im sure its not helping. Just rest and drink lots of water and OJ

feel better. It will surely pass by the time you deliver. At this point, I think you'd have to do A LOT of cold medicine to hurt the baby. She's mostly done now....just fattening up.
you'll be better soon...it's just compounded by the fact that you can't even get spacey from cold meds.

Jodi...Call your dr and get some better meds so that you dont have to be concerned about giving the baby what you have if you are sick. They had a food party at work today and I didnt eat a thing bc I was afraid of all the people having sore throats stomach viruses etc... I dont want that before I give birth.
