Ahhhhhhh stop scratching!!!!!! UPDATE
OK, I have no clue what is up with Peanut. For like a week now she is non stop scratching. And when we rub her tummy her legs shake uncontrollably. I've checked and don't see any fleas. I even started giving her the fish oil supplement in her food to help her skin. Nothing is working.
Do you think I should call the vet?
****UPDATE****
So Peanut and I got back from the vet a little while ago. Looks like I took the right steps by adding the fish oil supplement back into her diet and she is just suffering from minor allergies. Whew, Doc also said we can give small dose of Benedryl if needed.

Re: Ahhhhhhh stop scratching!!!!!!
I posted the same about my dog.. I asked the vet and they said it was allergies and to give him benadryl, i dont suggest it unless you talk to your vet first. We tried Cod Oil yesterday, just gave him gas.. Im hoping once the summers over he'll stop.

Re: Ahhhhhhh stop scratching!!!!!!
This just started up w/ my dog also. I think it just might be allergies. He gets them in March/April and my vet told me to give him some benadryl.

Re: Ahhhhhhh stop scratching!!!!!!
She could have had an appointment tomorrow but her regular doc isn't in so she has an appointment for Monday.
I'm sure it's just allergies but I'd rather get it checked out to be on the safe side.

Re: Ahhhhhhh stop scratching!!!!!! UPDATE
Benadryl works great on Charlie for allergies, but we have to watch the dosage because his eyes can get too dried out from it. It's common for Shar Pei, but I just wanted to give a headsup in case you notice him trying to rub his eyes...
We have an ointment and drops for the eye thing.
