Air Conditioners in the room with a baby...
We just recently got an air conditioner from someone in the family. They gave it to us. Anyways it's in our room where our baby will be with us. What's the best thing to dress your baby in with an air conditioner in your room.
We had to have one in the room, cuz it gets really hot. These last couple of days have been brutal. We had a thermostat fan and it would tell you what the temp in the room was and it would say like 90 degrees. We were like "there is no way we can have a baby in this room with that temp. If we feel hot just imagine how the baby would feel...

Depends on how cold you make the room. With a window a/c the room could be 78 degrees or 65 degrees!

We have a setting on ours that the unit will turn off when the room is at 72 degrees. I dress him in lightweight jammies.

For the most part if you are too hot/cold then the baby is too hot/cold. Dress the baby the way you would dress yourself and maybe add a light blanket.

i would put the long sleeve pjs at nite, esp if the room gets colder. can you set it to not go higher than a certain temp? my house is usually comfy at 74-76 with the AC depending on how hot it is outside. we can go as low as 68 if its a stuffy day or there are lots of people in the house, so the degrees could vary. but the boys rooms are always super cold.
if you put short PJs on him, then maybe a light receiving blanket (but I cant imagine swaddling in summer, I could be wrong, I havent had a summer newborn yet). but with the AC those regular stretchies you get millions of at your shower should be fine. If you have no AC on, just a onesie !
