Airbrush tanning reviews

Has anyone ever sprayed or airbrush tanned before?

I am in a wedding 4/9 and currently look like Casper the friendly ghost but have sworn off tanning beds b/c I know how bad they are for you.


Can you share your experience? I am concerned about the smell factor-every time I use self-tanner I reek

I'd love some reviews too. I have a wedding in the end of March and I am hideously pale right not.

I went spray tanning twice years ago and didn't love it - orange and streaky looking for the first 2-3 days. I am wondering if airbrush itanning is better.

But i think i would die of embarrassment standing there nearly naked with someone airbrushing me

really, the half naked part isn't so bad. you'll never see the girl ever again!

i had it done for an april wedding a few years back, and i had a jiggly post baby body, but with the spanx and that tan, i was rockin for the wedding!

I did it for my wedding. I think it was called Brazil Bronze, a place in Great Neck if I'm remembering right. I liked it a lot! Came out great, very natural looking. Did it 2 days before my wedding so I had it for the rehearal & day of. Definitely worth it!

Did you have any chemically smell afterwards?

I've done airbrush tans a bunch of times! I love it! You don't get that streaky orange look at all as long as you go to someone who is experienced and uses a good product. Initially, you feel really sticky and gross, but what I do is have it done the night before the event. You can't shower for something like 8-12 hours. So I go the day or night before, feel kinda gross the rest of the day but when I shower the day of the event, the true natural color tan shows and it looks amazing. It doesn't smell bad either - kida of reminds me of a maple syrup smell. My advice is to not be scared when they first put it on. It can be very dark and fake looking. But, if you shower the next day, you're left with a beautiful glow.

I swear by Beach Bum's custom airbrush tanning! It never looks streaky or unnatural and it's very reasonably priced. I used it for my wedding last May and had zero complaints!

I go to brazil bronze glow bar in Soho. I used it for my wedding, for other people's weddings, etc.

I love it. They spray you by hand, and then you stand in front of a fan for a while. It is awkward for only a few minutes, before they start spraying.

I have found the best results getting the tan two days prior to the needed day.

i have gone to beach bum and had the airbrush done several times for weddings and events. It has always come out looking really natural.

just make sure to go like 2 days before the event so it has time to settle.

i pay $23 for mystic tan- the darkest one- and i am now addicted.

they do 14 seconds of spray for each side.

No stained clothing and no streaks

I hated it. I've tried airbrush and mystic. It looks weird on me, and the color fades completely in like 2-3 days.

I did it for my SIL's wedding and I hated it too. I looked too shiny. I went the day before the wedding and I think I should have gone two days before and I would have been fine. It was too dark on me and no one recognized me which may have been good. I look at my SIL's wedding pictures and I hate how I looked.
