Go to www.akc.org. Then go to breeder referral on the left (link) then select the breed. It will give you the name, email and ph# of the breed referral contact who will send you a list of all the REUPTABLE breeders in your area who are affiliated with the AKC....

There is actually an Airedale for adoption at the Wantagh or Hempstead animal shelter. It's in today's Newsday classifieds - look in the pet section, there is even a pic.
