Alarm Companies and Pricing
What other alarm companies are out there besides Slomin's and Brinks?
Which company (any) is your favorite? And if you don't mind, what do you pay?

we use ADT - I dont like them very much. We pay $45 per month I believe.
They would be fine to use if you can be available for service calls monday to friday - 9-5. If not, they are the worst.

I think that other than the obvious companies, there are local ones available in each area. I have Slomin's and i have been very pleased with them.... I think we pay about $75/every 3 months.

We have it through the cable cie. It's $40 but we have tv, phone, internet... so it's probably "discounted".

Didn't install ours yet, but we will use Slomins. Installation is free if you sign a 5yr contract with them. Im not sure how much it is otherwise.

ADT had a ad in sundays newsday which offered installation for $99, with monitoring at 34.99 a month. you have to sign a 3 yr contract to get that price.

We have ADT and pay $35 a month. So far they have been excellent and I haven't had any problems.
