Alex has a cold
Yesterday she started sneezing a lot and sounded congested... then last night all hell broke loose! She hardly slept, was sneezing up a storm and kept waking herself up from the snoring because of the congestion and her temperature went up to 99.5. Today her temp is back down, but she's still mucousy... we have the steam vaporizer on in her room and we elevated her crib mattress a little. I used the aspirator to pull out some boogies (not a happy moment, let me tell you!)... anything else I can do to make her a little happier?

Christopher's just getting over a cold now and it sounds like you're doing everything you can. You did everything that our doctor recommended. He also told us that if the crib mattress elevation doesn't help with sleeping, it's not a bad thing to let them sleep in the car seat.

I use little noses nasal spray...its just saline spray... I just give him a couple of drops... it seems too help the congestion..

It really has to run its coarse. Most docs dont like to give meds for a young baby. I hope she feels better soon

Oh man, I'm terrified of Emily getting a cold and both Bill and I aren't feeling so good right now. i'm back at work and that ALWAYS gets me sick.
I hope Alex feels better soon! Lots of hugs!!!

Run the humidifier and try the vicks for babies. With Connor at daycare he always seems to have a cold and both those things help. I also us the vapor bath now and it helps right before bed
