All American Gymnastics in bellmore
I'm thinking of signing up DS (15 months old) for totnastics. He LOVES to climb anything - so I figure instead of climbing coffee tables, we should try safe things
any feedback on the place???
I don't want him to be in actual gymnastics but I figure this sounded like good climbing.

Re: All American Gymnastics in bellmore
My son took class at All American last fall thru the spring sessions (2.5yrs-3ish). He loved it and still loves going to parties there. If he didn't start school, he'd still be going there for classes. Since he was on the 2.5 border when we started, I took both mommy and me and separation trials but signed him up for separation only classes. Mommy and me is cute but more free for all - better for the younger ones. I really think the gymnastics helped me son with coordination in general too. He learned the proper way to do forward rolls, balance on balance beams and all cute stuff.
My other son is 17 mos and we've been to a bunch of parties there and he has always had fun. I'd do mommy and me there if I could with him but I have no one to watch my older one so I can't.

Re: All American Gymnastics in bellmore
we did a class at all american in the tot room, and well as one in the older kid area. personally, i thought the little kid class was great, my son had a blast in there. he didn't like it nearly as much in the big gym, but there was more sitting around waiting for turns in the big gym. in the tot one, they pretty much are up and moving and doing stuff every single minute which is what he loved. we also did a birthday party there which worked out amazingly well when we did it. all the kids and parents loved it.

Re: All American Gymnastics in bellmore
Matss is in bellmore just north of the train station. The staff is wonderful and it has a real community feel. The anyone and me classes spend sometime with circle moving to music, free time in the toddler gym, and then tumble time. They also have seperation classes, but we arent up to that stage yet.
They do a free class before signing up, you should give it a try!
