All in one morning we got Ba Ba and Ma Ma!!
I keep saying words over and over and over to him.
He must think I'm nuts. Well he finally got it:)

I keep doing that with Matthew and he doesn't say boo.
Is this something you have been doing for months with Andrew?
Everytime I do it with DS all he says in this little soft voice is "oh". But nothing else...or sometimes he'll do his usual "aaaah aaaah" that he normally does.

Everytime I do it with DS all he says in this little soft voice is "oh". But nothing else...or sometimes he'll do his usual "aaaah aaaah" that he normally does.
I turn the words into songs and say them to him. And I make sure that everytime I touch something or he looks at something I say the name of it.
And I make sure I really pronunciate the words with him and make exaggerated facial expressions when I do it. Most of the time he just laughs hysterical at me

Congrats - isn't it exciting!!
My DD is almost a year old and still no mama. Her first word was baba, then dada now she does gaga, lala and caca too....I have been trying to teach her mama for months, but to no avail!!!! It is soooo frustrating. I bet a sign of things to come when she is older!
