All-Inclusive recommendations needed
Looking to do an all-inclusive resort for 5-days or so in August. Any recommendations?

we went to Now Sapphire in the riviera Maya and had a great time. I'd reccommend it if you get a good price. I feel like they have some weeks that are priced really really well and then sometimes I'd see it for a super ton of money. We spent about $2000 for 5 nights for the two of us in a preferred level room and that was fine. But if it were more than like $2500, I wouldn't pay it. We also went during peak time at easter. so i assume August would be much cheaper.

DH and I always went to Sandals resorts-we've been to the Halcyon in St. Lucia and also the Montego Bay Sandals in Jamacia..so far we've never gone wrong with Sandals. In fact when we have children we're planning to go to Beaches (it's Sandals but for families).

If its just you and DH, DH and I went to Sandals Royal Bahamian in July. It may not have as much as the other Sandals, but it was reasonable and was a beautiful resort with still quite a bit to do. If you are going with family and $ is no object, look into Beaches Turks and Caicos. It was one of the best trips I have ever taken. Beautiful resort, lots to do, but has gotten very pricey!

Any of the Excellence resorts!  (there are 2 in Mexico and one in DR). DH and I have been to two of them and we loved both.
We're going to the third in August and can't wait!!!

Yes. We have been to the one in Playa Mujeres and it blew Sandals and Riu out of the water IMO

we JUST got back from Sandals La Toc in St. Lucia and LOVED every minute of it. It was AMAZING. Food, service, beach. I posted extensively about it on LIW. I got a great deal on a butler level room with a 65% off plus one night free deal.

Any of the Excellence resorts - Playa Mujeres was our favorite. LOVE that chain! And Couples Swept Away in Jamaica.
