All of you beautiful pregos... can you please bust this myth for me...
A GF of mine says that you can't get an epidural if you have a tattoo on your lower back..
True or False?

False my friend has one on her back and she got an epi.
I have one on my back and that would not be cool if i couldnt get one b/c of that.

Thank you! And a big sigh of relief over here as well. I have a tat on my lower back and I would hate to get pregnant and find out that an epi wasn't on my list of options!

FALSE!! The only thing they asked me was how old my tattoo is, I dont think they want it to be new, and you cant get tattoo's when your pregnant anyway, so dont worry about it!

I had MAJOR back surgery and a HUGE scar. I just had to meet with the head of anasthesiology at the hospital and bring all my records with me.
And he was of course happy to tell me that I will be BEGGING for an epi. 
I can't imagine with the way they WANT everyone to have it, that they wouldn't do it because of a tattoo!
