All these picky eater/skinny toddler posts, I have a question...
I can't possibly be the only one with a kid that eats anything in sight. Can I
Seriously, this kid eats EVERYTHING! Very rarely does he not want his meal.

My DD can eat anyone under the table. She's a food vacuum.
On the other hand, my 3 year old is now the pickiest eater. I chose my battles with him.

Here here!
Let me just tell you - yesterday when I picked up Alex, the late care teacher was going ON AND ON about how Alex has such a hearty appetite
And, literally, every other day her teacher sends me a note asking me to send something in for lunch, like yogurt, cheese, etc., because apparently, Alex can't keep her hands to herself when it comes to all the picky eaters' lunches

Re: All these picky eater/skinny toddler posts, I have a question...
We have "Not My Kid" syndrome, at nursery they tell us how much he loves to eat, he eats everything they give him. But at home, we are lucky if the kid has 2 bites of his dinner, but then he will eat a HUGE bowl of fruit...
At the minute he will eat Cheerios...anytime of the day or night, Cheerios. Cheerios. Cheerios. Cheerios.
I would give anything to have a kid that ate and ate and ate. Its the Jewish Mother in me that wants to feed him so badly. Oh well, next baby.

Re: All these picky eater/skinny toddler posts, I have a question...
My daughter isn't super picky (she just doesn't really love dairy) and she does eat - sometimes more than me in a day...
she is just really skinny...and petite. I wish I could eat as much and have the same problem!

Re: All these picky eater/skinny toddler posts, I have a question...
Luca will eat just about anything. In fact, we're starting to worry about it a little. DH and I feel like he's gotten heavier since I've gone back to work- and guess who we feel is to blame... MY MIL. She swears she only gives him what I send him with, but we don't believe it for a second. She's always stuffing food in his mouth and it's got to stop.

DD will pretty much each anything - it's rare that she turns away from food- unless she really doesn't want it or like it - which is rare.
