all this talk about 06ers....
Where are you in the house and child area of your life?
DH and I are looking at houses and then we will have kids. Am I one of the last 06ers to have a baby?

We will be in our house 4 years in August (closed 7 months before the wedding). We are also expecting our first  in August.

we bought a home in July os 2006 (I found out I was pregnant with my dd 2 weeks later)
dd#1 was born 3/20/07 and we are expecting a on 9/9/09

We both had kids before we met...
AND
I bought this house right after I met DH...
Caden was born 3 days after our first anniversary.

House- LOL.. I wish. Thank god we rent out my IL 2nd home. We will eventually one day buy it, but def not anytime soon.
As for baby... We have one sweet little angel. Born 8-19-08.

Got married in Nov 06.
We closed on our co-op in Nov 06 - we lived with my in-laws until April 07 while we did renovations.
I suffered a miscarriage in Dec 07. We're not "trying" to have children - we're on the "if it happens - it happens" boat.
Although, by this time next year we may need to start being a bit more diligent if we want to start a family :)

No house, we don't know where we want to "settle" down. We plan on moving and then after the move we don't intend on staying in one place for longer than 5 years.
No kids. I had a miscarriage earlier in the year, the pregnancy was a total surprise. Not sure if we want to have kids.

DH had a house before we were married, but we are hoping to upgrade next year.  So excited about this!!
We're not having kids, so you won't be the last 06er to have one

Bought a starter co-op in August 2007. (We aren't sure if we are staying on Long Island.)
DS came one day after we moved in.
We didn't anticipate cutting things so close.

No house--not until we move to NY after I graduate, and a year or so after that
No kids-- I feel like I haven't accomplished ANYTHING since getting married. I am finishing my dissertation sometime in the fall though. So things will get moving along...

STBX and I bought a condo a month before we got married ( married 3 years next week) but we'll be selling eventually as we are divorcing. I thought we would have started TTC this year but for obvious reasons that won't be happening
I just turned 27 on Wednesday and I know I'm still young so I try not to let that get me down. I know I will have kids one day!

We're still not homeowners. At the moment I'm surprisingly ok with that.
Our 3 year anniversary is in June (in 2 1/2 weeks!).
We're expecting out first child this August.
