Allergy related asthma... (kinda long)
Do any of you have dc's with this allergy related asthma and if so how did you and your ped come to this conclusion?
I ask bc ds has been sick a couple of times two times with horrible coughs and a few colds. When he had the horrible coughs one time was RSV and the last time it had appeared it was a change of weather that brought it on.
We had to use the nebulizer and he was on orapred.
This week he started up again, coughing not too bad yet but with a runny nose, not consistantly but here and there. I notice some days are worse than others.
My ped said that if the cough continues when we notice a change in weather, etc. we may (down the road) want to think about preventative medication to avoid it.
He's 13 months and was wondering if this is about the age when you would notice this or realize that he has allergies which are causing these horrible coughs.
