almost 30 weeks and my boobs....
are starting to leak.
I'm off today so I've been braless and I look down at my t-shirt bc I feel something cold near my boobs and I notice little wet dots near both boobs....I didnt realize this happens before the baby comes....
anyone else have some leakage?

Yes, not leaky like that but where I always smell milk. I have my husband smell them to make sure I'm not crazy all of the time. I think that started around 27 or 28 weeks for me.
If they are that bad, maybe it's time for nursing pads.

THANK YOU!!! I thought i was going crazy!!! every once in a while i smell milk coming from my boob area and i thought it was so strange!!!

If I notice it getting worse I think nursing pads will me the way to go!

it's colustrum (sp?) the pre-milk.
you can get some breast pads to soak it up.

What I didn't know this - really they should have a book on all that you need to know before you get pg - all the embarrasing TMI stuff
I am 28w and haven't had it yet - so this is something to look forward to!

You ladies are VERY lucky. My boobs never changed at all during pregnancy and everyone said "oh, don't worry, you'll be fine" and now that she's 13 days old and I still am not producing more than a tiny bit of milk, people are finally saying "oh, guess you have a problem"... so be grateful!! My body won't produce enough to feed her, so already my plans of EBF have been foiled and we've had to supplement her with formula.
Too bad you can't get started storing now lol! But you're in great shape if you're going to BF once the baby is here!

With my first pregnancy, I started leaking around like 20 weeks. It was horrible. I had to wear disposible nursing pads the rest of my pregnancy.

With my first I remember it around 33-34 weeks.... I'm 31 weeks now but I have a pituitary tumor and was told that I can't produce milk this time.
