Alrighty...now that I've O'd..

Onto a whole new set of ???

1. Am i supposed to be an emotional mess? I've been crying at the drop of a hat & more on edge than usual...

2. when does 'implantation' typically occur? Is there a delay in the time you O to the time you 'implant'?

3. How does the DPO thing work? I tested and got my line on Tuesday...so is Wednesday 1DPO?

I don't do OPK's but I believe when you get a positive, you're like to O within the next 24-48 hours or so. So you probably O'd the day after your positive, which would've been Wednesday for you. So today you would be 1dpo.

Implantation occurs about 7-10 days after ovulation.

I don't think your emotions at this point have anything to do with you being or not being pregnant - it's really too early for that. I've found though that since TTCing, I'm much more aware of what's going on with my body, etc than I was before. So I'm sure I used to have some of the same 'symptoms' in my 2ww before we were trying, but I never noticed them because I wasn't looking for them.

implantation can occur anywhere between 6 & 12dpo

After a surge, you can ovulate anywhere between 12-48 hours later. Most common is around 36 hours later.
