I got a BFP on ThanksGiving...
That's right... I'm in the 2 under 2 club.
Mom's with 2 under 2... I need all your good advice!! Especially the one's that work... I will continue to work, but maybe look for a p/t or flex time position... but for now I'm staying put.
It's still very early and I had to let Little BlueBug know before I posted on here... wouldn't want my own sister to find out she'll be an aunt again via the internet. I have a doctor's appointment on Wednesday of next week... Lovenox mommies... your support is welcome too. I started taking my ASA already.
This was totally planned, but still we are like "WOW". DD is going to be a big sister!! My kids will be 15 months apart... cool and scary at the same time. We don't think we'll find out the baby's sex this time either.
Possible due date is 8/5/09, but I'll be induced so it'll be about a week sooner. A Leo baby - Lord help us! The only Leo's I know are only-children and they're both nuts! I'm hoping a Leo with sibs is a little more down to earth. LOL!

My girls are 14 months apart. i LOVE them being that close.
I am a leo (and so is my oldest DD) and we aren't crazy(yet) and we aren't only children!

Hope everyone knows I was teasing about the Leo thing... as long as the baby is healthy and happy, I'll be happy.
My mom is one of the Leo's I know... I grew up hearing "I'm an only child I don't have to share" and in the same breath "I'm a Leo, I am the center of the universe/king of the jungle"... she acted like that too. But that may have just been her. Not sure where she came up with those statements... someone probably said them to her. DH and I are both Virgos and DD is a Taurus (a bull and a Lion are sibs, that actually does sound like a power struggle - LOL).
Bigger concern as I posted on PG board too... I just want to understand how to balance 2 kids and a career level job. We have no family or close friends for support and in emergencies that has proven recently to be quite stressful with one baby. We also are not "typical" of Long Island... we were planning on selling our house and getting something larger, but nothing in our price range was decent... needed work and with 2 babies that could be hard. For now, our children will be forced to share a bedroom. I know at such a young age gender won't be an issue regardless of the sex of this new baby (except that DD's room is pink and brown, but I'm not redecorating it)... bigger issue is things like sleep. DD is a great sleeper and likes her night time slumber... I'd hate that at new baby will wake her up... and what if #2 isn't as easy to "train" to sleep through the night. I'm afraid of a disaster. We don't have room for a basinet in our bedroom so DD went right into a crib. My plans would be the same for #2, but that would definitely disturb #1. Not sure what to do... I'm probably overthinking this. DH is talking about moving to Bucks County Pennsylvania... Suffolk had nothing to offer last summer for us. Old outdated large houses.. bigger house seemed to be a bigger headache. I know it's so outdated to have kids sleep in the same room but not sure what else to do. Economy doesn't help and if our i-taxes go up it'll be harder.
