I have this one and so far it is working out well. We keep it attached to one of our dining room chairs.

Recline and Grow seat

The only thing I would say about it is that I don't feel like it is as stable as a high chair.. I won't leave her unattended in it.

We have the Eddie Bauer 2 Level wood seat. We keep it attacked to a wooden kitchen chair. It's pretty sturdy with the wood on wood.

We have the fisher price one that attaches to the chair and I love it. We also have a very small kitchen and I would have nowhere to keep a standard high chair.

DD is one now and I still love it! I also find it to be very sturdy and easy to clean.

We have the Fisher Price Space Saver High Chair.

My SIL never used a high chair with her 4 kids. They all ate in their bouncy seat

I have used this with my 2 younger kids since they were 5 months. I never broke out the highchair and it worked great.

I have a small kitchen too, but I just used the high chair because we don't have an eat in kitchen (we use our dining room table) and I did not want to put a booster seat on a good chair of my dining set.

Another option is a hook on chair, that you can hook to a sturdy table, or in our case, we used at the end of the kitchen counter.

I'm going to do the same thing with DS...a regular high chair was such a pain...

my thing is...

do any of these convert to a booster and will it fit UNDER the table when you push the chair in?

DD is using one of the portable ones and because it doesn't push under the table, food is always in her lap!

I have this too and love it. I keep the regular highchair in the kitchen and this one in the dining room, since sometimes I feed him on his own and sometimes he eats with us, as a family. I love this seat for traveling and restaurants, too -- most restaurant high chairs seem really unsafe and I always know he is safe in this.
