alternative to pampers size 1?
with DD#1 i used pampers newborn and size 1, then huggies 1/2 and overnights, and BJ's brand 3 and up. worked great.
DD#2 has developed a nasty diaper rash that just does not go away, triple paste, going diaperless, and all. i remember with DD#1 our ped suggesting to try different diaper brands if we ever run into this problem because he has seen it help with other patients.
so...any suggestions? thanks!

Re: alternative to pampers size 1?
You can try any of the generic brands . . . CVS, Target etc. You can try Earth's Best or Seventh Generation. Of course, there is always Huggies, or Luvs.

Re: alternative to pampers size 1?
I'm battling my first case of diaper rash with DD. I've also been using triple paste and trying to go diaperless a few hours a day. 2 days ago I switched to 7th generation diapers to see if it helped, and it does seem to be getting a little better. Her pediatrician also said to put lotriman on it a few times a day to prevent a yeast infection from developing. I'm not sure if I will stick with 7th generation diapers. I might try pampers sensitive when this goes away, but we'll see.

Pampers has a sensitve I think, although I'm not sure what size? There also is the Seventh Generation which is chlorine free.

Re: alternative to pampers size 1?
I've heard 7th generation is good for babies prone to diaper rash... something about the diapers being a bit more breathable than other brands.... and chlorine-free...
they run a tad small, though... size 1 is good up to roughly 12 lbs in our experience....
