Alternative Uses For Kid/Baby Stuff

i thought this might be a snazzy thread...

i have this thing - this Skip Hop Diaper Caddy that i got on gagadeals when I was pregnant and it's been in our bedroom EMPTY for 17 months now...

yesterday, i realized it could be Em's Art Caddy... I put her coloring books where the diapers go on top, put her crayons in the bottom right drawer and her color wonder markers in the bottom left drawer. I'm still trying to figure out what can go in the rest of the spots, but i thought that was a decent idea!

I'm POSITIVE i'm not the only one to think of 'alternate' uses for our kids/baby items that we don't use....so what are yours??

The plastic wipes tubs are FANTASTIC for organization...crayons, markers, stickers....I even keep DD's FP Little People in one!

Old (clean) baby socks make a great eraser for small, travel chalkboards (like the kind from the dollar store)

My mom did this with my onesie when i was little so i did the same thing with Travis onesie. She sewed the bottom and used it for her clothes pins. We put a hanger it as if we are hanging a regular shirt.

Cloth diapers (the kind a lot of people use for burp cloths) are a FABULOUS alternative to paper towels. I use them for cleaning all around the house. They are amazing for soaking up spills.
