Am I a really bad Mommy for....
....giving Logan a pillow to nap on?  This child NEVER naps well for me....TOPS 40 minutes 2 times a day when I am off.
But he napped 2 1/2 HOURS with his Daddy yesterday on the bed laying on a pillow!!
So far he is asleep for an hour already......
What is the "average" age that a child gets a pillow?
I ABSOLUTELY have my video monitor on and he does not EVER sleep on his belly (he hates being on it).

sounds like he sleeps well with his head elevated - i personally don't see a problem with it. my DS tosses and turns all night and ends up with his face in his bumper, the mattress, his stuffed toy

That's what I was thinking! When we have bad nights where he won't sleep, DH usually ends up on the sofa (we have a chaise on the end) and he lays Logan on a pillow there & he usually falls asleep then too!
Hum? MAYBE I wjust start with naps & see how it goes....because an hour & half later he is STILL asleep!
I don't know what DO with myself!

DS got a small travel pillow under his sheets at 15 months. At 19 months it was traded for a firm adult pillow over the sheets.

OH!! SUCH a good idea! UNDER the sheets!! I am panicking a little right now....but he fell asleep in like 5 minutes tonight with it under him.
