Am I a terrible friend ?? please pray for me!

Had my IUI yesterday and had a ton of follicles and great sperm. I truly hope and pray that this is it. I want another baby soo very badly.
My only dilemna is this...a very good friend of over 16 years is going through IVF right now as well. We have been on the same exact timeline so to speak throughout our cycles this time for the first time. I am really hoping that is good luck for both of us! We both got AF on the same day, I triggered Saturday night, she triggered Sunday night, I had my IUI Monday, she had her egg retrieval today, my beta is 8/2 hers is 8/4. I am scheduled to find out on her birthday and honestly after all that I have been through I will be so upset if she gets pregnant and I don't. I was pregnant at the beginning of the year with identical twin and they both passed away and I have been trying really hard to move on. While I would be so very excited for her since we both have been TTC for well over a year already I just think I would also be very upset since I was halfway through my pregnancy when I lost my twins and want nothing more than to conceive again. You aren't a terrible friend. (but don't tell her your feelings! lol)

I totally get where you are coming from. When I had my loss and then was TTC my best friend got pg after 1 try and I was so happy for her...but so sad for myself.

I honestly think it's a natural feeling. This is a perfect place to share it.

It is very normal to be jealous and upset if your friends gets pregnant before your. That is just natural. It's important though that you still be happy and there for here either way.

You both have obviously been through a lot, and now both going through IU!'s.... No-one wants to see anyone struggle. But will it hurt if one gets pregnant before the other...YES ..Absolutely. You are human and that it normal.

Just remember either way still be a good friend. Let's say u get pregnant and she doesn't... You would still want her to be happy for you anf participate in your pregnancy.
