Am I crazy??

Okay I really want to start not being afraid to go places with the boys on my own.

I have their 4 month check up next Friday and they will each be getting another round of 4 shots each. The last time i had my mom there, but i am thinking of going to the doctor by myself bringing the boys in the stroller. Can i do it??? Or should i ask my MIL or Mom to come with me. I think i need to start doing things on my own.

You can do it. I take them on my own. I wheel in the stroller to the doc's office and park the stoller in the waiting room. Your family is helpful and that is great, but it sounds like you want to do things on your own. You can do it, just take your time and relax. good luck!

You can totally do it! It's always nice to have help, but there's something really sweet about being with your DC on your own. Most of the time I go out with them on my own (I don't know a ton of SAHMs) and I really do enjoy the alone time with them.

When I go to the DR's officie I just carry one of the carriers over my forearm and one in my other hand. The examination rooms at my office are TINY so the less i bring in the better

You can do it! I am the same as you, I rarely take them out on my own. I decided yesterday I had to start. So I took them to buy buy baby. Wasnt that bad, but it was a lot of work for a 15 minute trip.

My MIL thinks Im crazy because I take them EVERYWEHERE with me on my own...it is hard but manageable.

You can definitely do it. I take them into the waiting room in their stroller then usually one of the doctor's staff comes out and helps me take them into the exam room. (I think the nurse just loves to hold them though.)

Its scary the first time but when its over, you are going to be so proud about how you handled it! I used to take them all over, I needed to get out for my sanity... I was and am a big window shopper. I love to stroll in the mall and in town, peeking in windows and such. You get really good at planning ahead for possible situations, and always pack reserves in your diaper bag. And remember, when all else fails, espcially at your Dr., someone will always jump in to help! Good luck!!! you can do it!!!
