** Am I crazy that I always lurk on this board ...
My husband and I have been married a year and a half (together since we are 16) and Ive been talking about having a baby for as long as I can remember!! I just feel like Im ready to be a parent and think about it everyday!! Unlike me, my newlywed friends our age (I'm 25) dont feel like they are ready and want to enjoy married life for a bit! But I am totally opposite... I think maybe its because Ive been with DH for so long! Like I literally talk about our non existant children everyday lol! DH is just not ready ... Im hoping we can start trying in a year but what if he is not ready then?!! I just feel like Im meant to be a mom and just feel so unfulfilled w/o a baby! I also have fears that maybe I wont be able to concieve at all! Is this normal? Did you or DH feel differently about the "when to start trying" thing? Can anyone relate? 
** Just want to add, DH does want a family, we always talk about that! Its just he wants to wait a few YEARS and I def. do NOT want to wait more than a year and a half!

I am almost 24, and have been with DH since 15. We got pregnant 3 months after our wedding! We wanted to be young parents and always talked about having kids (and we got 2 in one shot lol) so we knew we wanted to start a family pretty soon.

At first me and my DH were not on the same page ~ then it changed! Just give him time! I know for my DH when I talked about it alot it drove him crazy ~ when i stopped talking about it ~ I remember the day ~ we were at our friends DS's christening and there were alot of adorable children ~ DH whispered in my ear he wanted to make a baby it was the cutest! for him to be like that it was amazing to me ~ well we conceived our DS shortly after that!! So hang in there....

My DH and I were on the same page, I think...we decided to just try once to get pregnant the first weekend of our honeymoon...well, 9 months later our DD arrived! If he wasn't ready, he got ready really quick when he saw that pregnancy test! He must have decided he likes the fatherhood thing, because we decided to have another one 9 months later! Also, none of our friends are married or even thinking about it, so we are basically the only ones with kids, but it didn't really affect how we felt about having a family.

I have been with my DH since 16 and I am almost 24. About a year into our relationship I started talking about it. It's all I ever wanted to do- get married and have a baby. We started trying about a year and a half before we got married ( I have some fertility issues) and got pregnant, but miscarried. After that we didn't end up getting pregnant again 5 months after our wedding and I am now 5 months pregnant.
He used to get annoyed at me for bringing it up all the time, but I eventually broke him down until he wanted it as badly as me
