Am I going to burn my house down?
How serious are those warnings not to exceed 65 watts in a light?
I'd ask DH (yes, yes he's an electrician), but then I have to hear him b!tch that I didn't buy the right bulbs. So I'm weighing my options...house fire vs. a 45 min complaining about my shopping. It's in a ceiling fan with 2 bulbs - both bulbs are 75 watts.

Daughter of a fireman here - I take those seriously. I actually even check the tags on extension cords to make sure I don't overload the wires. then again, I live in an apt that still has a fuse box

I have a 12 pack of 40 watt from Home Depot (we just moved in) and am in the neighborhood.
Honestly, I almost had an electrical fire in my old house due to a ceiling light so I'd probably live with one bulb for now. I know it's a PITA but it will just be for a few days. Or come by my house... it's lightbulb central.
