Am I in lala land? Will a pharmacy exchange expired meds for me?
Just checked asthma meds...expired 2 months ago.
I have so much left over...and a new box costs me over 110.00.
I will give them a call...but just wanted to know how crazy I am going to sound to them

I don't really think they will.

There's no possible way they'll do that. I only say that because I once got my meds home (I was literally in the door 5 minutes) when I got the results of my thyroid test--I had JUST picked up a brand new bottle and needed to change the dosage.
They wouldn't take it back, even though I had JUST been there, because they can't account for what happened to the meds once they left the store.

I had the same experience--I got three months' worth of BC pills, had two still sealed when I found out they made me sick, and I couldn't return the sealed ones.

I was able to take meds back (liquid Zantac for DD actually) a few hours after I brought it home due to a billing/insurance dispute. I never used the bottle and the pharmacist had no problems. Full refund. But the pharmacist emphasized that I had to do it before she left for the day.

As someone whose child uses liquid Zantac , I hope they don't give out the used prescription to someone else though!

Who knows, but if someone did get the bottle I returned it's perfectly good and never opened!
