Am I missing something? FB buy/sell sites?
Someone just posted an Atari game cartridge for sale. Atari. From 1988 (it had a date ) Really???? Unless it's a collectible that I'm not aware of.....

I don't know why I bother with them. Most of it is weird overpriced junk. Sometimes people have something nice at a good price but it's the exception.

Most of it is crap (IMO) and there are some things that people want way too much for. But I have found some great things on there. So among the crap, there are some good things.

I always scratch my head at the prices. Who gives someone over 1k for something used aside from cars? Glad to see you want 450 plus for used rugs. Really?

I am sure some hipster somewhere would buy it to be ironic...but I don't know if hipsters are on fb buy/sell/swap groups. My sister takes pictures with a camera from the 70's and she is a super hipster.

I guess the game could be a collectible, who knows.. but I am in the buy/sell group from where I live (not LI) and the other day someone posted sneakers for sale... besides from them being SO disgusting and dirty there was dog crap (or maybe a lot of dirt that looked like dog crap) stuck in the bottom. Seriously what are people thinking?!

My husband has been selling all his old video games out of his moms basement and my brother too. Some old video games go for soo much money!! Game cube, Nintendo, sega, and Ps2. All the gamers buy them! You should see what some of the old games go for and sometimes you will be shocked!! Zelda is a HUGE one!!

Also, really??? I/we have SO many old games in our basement... atari, sega, original nintendo. And we have a couple of the systems, too!

I don't think it's weird to sell old video games at all! I wouldn't personally buy one, but I'm sure there is a huge market for it.

Dh buys and sells old video games all the time. Believe or not there are people who like that stuff. I think its a nostalgic thing. And since they can't find them in the stores anymore they buy them used. We had a garage sale last summer and advertised that we would be selling video games and this guy showed up before it even started as we were setting up and asked to buy most of it and also asked if we had any other old games still in the house that he could see. Then we had another garage sale a few months later and he showed up again. I guess some of the old games are considered collectibles to some. Dh buys and sells them a lot on eBay too.
