am i the only moron who didn't know that...
the pack and play mattress isn't machine washable?
DD had an accident on the mattress and I went to pull it off to wash and sure enough that thing doesn't detach  .
Now i'm stuck getting a replacement piece....ugh! what can i put on there besides a fitted sheet? do they sell other accessories to prevent accidents?
help me i have no clue!
eta: don't mean to call anyone a moron, just me!

I put a waterproof mattress pad over my pack n play pad.
but isnt your the pack and play plastic? My cover is on mine.. just seems uncomfy so I put the pad over it.

the bassinet thingee is plastic, i'm talking about the part underneath that, the mattress. that's fabric.

ahh, I dont know if mine is.. dd is sleepign in it so cant check. But i been using the waterproof mattress pad since my first dd, and it works great. I got from BRUs

Ours came with a waterproof mattress? And it came in an out. Maybe Im not talking about the same piece as you??

I always put down a waterproof pad. There is a size out there that is exactly the same size as a pack n play mattress.

My MIL has him nap in it so she bought us a portacrib mattress and it fits right in there, we have a mattress pad and a sheet on it.
