Am I the only one (kinda silly)
That has to watch what they say to DH when TTC b/c of all these acrynms and terms we use on this board...
"Honey, I'm O so let's go Baby Dance b/c we're TTC!"
 I think it's a real turn off for him if I do say that by mistake so I have to stop myself b/c he knows I'm on this board for support, but doesn't know what we really talk about. I think it in my head though...

Ya know - with LIW - i used to do that all the time - but with this one - i don't...i don't know why...
I mean, he gets what O means, but that's pretty much it.

My DH husband knew that I was on LIW for support and he knows that I am on LIF for support and all he asks me whenever I am on the computer is
Hon, what are you doing on the computer? and I tell him and he totally understands.

Funny that you say that... I went to my doctor about 3 weeks ago and during my last visit in March, he said he wanted me to keep track of our BD'ing and my OPKs and whatnot... So, I put it in my iCalendar and write in "BD" and -OPK and so on... and so, I show him my months and he's got this look on his face like "what the h e l l am I looking at here" and when I start explaining it, he's like "well that's a different way of explaining it (intercourse and AF and EWCM and O'ing, etc) - I have to tell my wife that one..."
At least we got a good laugh at it... it sounds better than saying "doing it" or "intercourse" IMO... but, DH, totally lost with the "lingo" and just wants to know when we can "do it" again...

That is seriously hysterical!!!! I use all the abbreviations on the Fertility Friend calendar!!! I guess i'll have to explain that to the Fertility doc next month!
