am I the only one shocked at what they saw these girls wearing???
Holy Moly!! The skirts to these costumes were soo short.. i swear you can see the bottom of their butts hanging out!! Im in total utter shock that moms/dads are letting them out like this.. These girls and i mean girls b/c they had to be no older than 15!!

DH was horrified! We had girls that were only about 10 in these sexy corset type tops with the skirts you described
It's sad, but that's what is marketed to these young girls.

I was in Waldbaum's and saw the same type of girls and they looked until 17. I swear this holiday is more for the men (teenage boys) to oggle the girls. It's disgusting!

This is why my high school had to prohibit all costumes 3 years ago. No more Halloween, the majority of them were completely inappropriate.... too sexy, masks so you couldn't tell who the kid was, violent and gory themes, etc.... Board of Ed voted to prohibit it.

I was looking at the party city ad a few weeks ago and all costumes for females over the age of about 10  are skimpy, sexy and innapropriate. Talk about sending a terrible message!

OMG I went to my sisters tonight with DH and DD. She was having a little Halloween party for my niece and her friends and some of the girls costumes were horrific. I was shocked that parents buy their children costumes like that and let them leave the house wearing them. Unbelievable and unacceptable.

I literally saw a girl in fishnets and a thong!!!!!
Ok--these costumes aren't even sexy-or flattering for that matter. Women wearing them tend to look horrendous.

I went out with my sister, my niece, and nephew and I saw a few costumes that were trampy looking. The one that bothered me the most was girls wearing thigh-highs and short skirts. Might as well just give them a stripper pole.

I wasn't shocked- I was disgusted.
I saw a girl wearing a teeny plaid skirt with uggs and a white button down tied under her boobs. She had a fake tattoo on her belly and money tucked into the waistband of her skirt.
I have no idea what she was supposed to be.
Couldn't have been more than 14 or 15.
I also saw a young girl (prob about 12) ask her mom to buy her the "sexy nurse" thigh highs the other day in party city. The mom said "yeah, sure. Oh they're cute!"

I went to a birthday party last night and a group of us decided to go to a bar for some drinks. Big mistake - all the bars were packed and 80% (and I am being conservative with the number) of the ladies were wearing totally inappropriate outfits. I have never seen so many azzes and boobs popping out. Either every girls was wearing short shorts or short skirts and wearing middriff shirts or extremely low cut shirts. There were a ton of slutty looking police, referees and french maid costumes. It was unbelievable - i don't remember it being that bad 4 years ago. My cousin said she was wearing her outfit - a slutty firefighter outfit - b/c it is the only night you can dress like that and get away with it - still don't get it!

Actually, if you walk a mall their every day outfits are not much better. The super short shorts with UGGS ( ) and the "Flashdance"-y kind of tops are pretty damn provocative. When DH sees this, he wants to lock up our daughter forever.

Funny you say this b/c my DH last night turned to me and said "thank god we have a son - i don't think if i had a daughter she would see the light of day after seeing what i just saw". We saw a girl in a hula outfit with coconuts covering her tatas and a grass skirt over a bikini bottom - lets just say she needed bigger coconuts!

Yeah i know.. this past summer i couldnt believe how short the shorts were. but its almost winter and seeing these girls with her bottom hanging out i was just in total .. I just couldnt believe that someone that young was wearing that kind of costume.

They wear the shorts in the winter too. Stand outside of Abercrombie for 5 minutes - it will shock you.

We send home over 30 students for wearing outfits like this to school yesterday. The highlight was a group in satin hotpants that did NOT cover their butts.

We had a gaggle of slutty eskimos hanging out in the playground across the street! THey were in brown short dresses lined with fur, really low cut, no stockings, and furry stiletto boots.
I don't know.. I think they looked cold. I wanted to yell out that eskimos would be very cold dressed like that. The worst part is that i think they wore those things to school There were walking the steets at 3:30 dressed like that!

I'm convinced that the sole purpose of Halloween for some women is an excuse to dress like a total tramp and get away with it.
It's like they wish they could dress like that all the time- but know they would be labeled trash if they did- so at least on Halloween they can do it under the guise of a "costume"
