Am I the only person who reads Alison Weir books?
She's a Scotish author who writes about old English/French/Scottish royal history...

Never have, but I like that sort of thing, I'll have to check her out.

You won't be by yourself for long. I LOVE this kind of stuff. I'm reading "The Constant Princess" by Phillipa Gregory now. Thanks for the tip.

NO, you are not alone! I love her!!
I just recently finished bio of Isabella, Queen of England and just got the notice from the library that Children of Henry the VIII, that I placed on hold, have arrived ! Yepee! I really want to read her biography of Eleanor of Aquitaine but can't get my hands on it so far...
I love how she writes, beautifully, true to the fact, never turning history into a sappy Danielle Steel type BS.

OMG- whenever I go to dental appointment, I wear my college sweatshirt. People see the book and ask if I'm an English major
The first one I read was Elizabeth I. Then, I decided to go chronologically (which is NOT the order that the books were written). I'm so glad I'm doing it that way!!
I got Eleanor off of half.com. Try there!
