Amanda Bynes Reveals She Is Bipolar... Or Does She?

In a series of Tweets posted early Tuesday to a verified Twitter account belonging to Amanda Bynes, the actress seems to say she has been diagnosed as bipolar and manic depressive, but that she is "fine" because she is on medication and getting psychiatric help even after being released from a facility last week.

"I was diagnosed bi - polar and manic depressive so I'm on medication and I'm seeing my psychologist and pyshchiatrist [sic] weekly so I'm fine :D," reads a Tweet.

The troubled actress, 28, apparently used several other Tweets to address the temporary conservatorship that gives her mother control over Bynes's medical and financial decisions until at least February next year.

"I need to get an apartment and my parents won't give me access to any of my funds," she apparently wrote. "I'm not living with my parents … I'm not legally obligated to."

She added: "My lawyer said if I comply with the courtsand take my meds and see my psychologist and pyshchiatrist weekly then I will get unconserved … Thank GOD."

Bynes seemed to post several other Tweets that she then apparently deleted, and she also erased most of her prior Tweets going back to May – including those from last week that blasted her family.

UPDATE: By mid morning on Tuesday, a new Tweet on Bynes's account implied someone else was responsible for the overnight messages. "I was at a friends apartment last night and one of my friends tweeted my phone," she wrote, adding, "sorry guys!"

Um, Bipolar disorder is the modern term for "manic depression", so not quite sure what that means anyway.
