AMAZING class I am taking...wanted to share

I live in MD. At my local Golds gym they offer this class called "x factor fitness". It's $20/class (expensive, BUT i'm doing it for 3 months till DH comes back from deployment)

It's basically a boot camp meets crossfit. It's 3 times a week, an hour each session.

I just finished my second week. I can honestly say that even though I'm only down half a pound, I feel AWESOME. I have an incredible amount of energy and find that i can transition from all the stations quicker now and not AS out of breath as i was.

Its filled with stuff like burpees, tons of squats jumps, flipping over enormous tires and jumping through them, running quick laps, running with resistance bands, headstand pushups, box jumps etc..

If anyone is looking to mix up their routine or feels stuck and wants something that challenges them and keeps them interested, look into a class like this. The best part is that i put the kids in daycare at the gym while i take it!

That sounds cool.

I wonder if the gym would be willing to do some kind of "unlimited plan" thing to make it cheaper for people who want to take it regularly?

I know where I go for hot yoga, it too is normally $20.00 per class, but works out to be much cheaper if you sign up for an unlimited plan. If you go at least 3-4x a week it's well worth it IMO.

Plus, the studio is still making money anyways whether you go or not ;) since you pay at the beginning of the month.

sounds similar to Insanity, if you wanted a cheaper at-home option!
