American Fertility with Braverman
For the ladies who have gone through IVF with Braverman, how did you find the facility, staff, etc?

Staff--OUTSTANDING!! Facility--was under construction when I was there but was really fine, small spaces but clean and tidy.

Yes and yes. In fact, there was this little window in the ER room and she was talking to me through it before the procedure. I didn't have too many questions since it was my first time and had no clue what was going on...but we did talk about the quality issue the day of transfer.

The staff was great...they (dr's, nurses, techs) came in before the procedure just to introduce themselves. I was very happy with them

I thought the staff was amazing. The facility was under construction when I was there but that didn't bother me.
The embryologist was sooo sweet and extremly thorough. She came in to talk to me before the transfer. It was my first time so I had lots of questions!!!
Good luck Susan!!

Everyone was great. embryologist was wonderful - came in a spoke to us before the transfer. the only thing that bothered me was the construction going on- but it really wasn't that big of a deal.

Option 1: Single cycle $8K
Option 2: 2 plus 2 pay $10K upfront. In you have a baby you are done. If no baby pay an additional $10K and get up to 3 more cycles if needed. Includes all (ICSI and AH).
Anesthesia is $500 per cycle (pay day of ER) and freezing and FETs are extra.

Re: American Fertility with Braverman
They were really nice, especially Sandra and the one with the long dark hair (can't remember her name). There is one receptionist that I think is a little ditzy, but still nice. One time I went she was sitting outside the office in a lounge chair getting some sun!

Actually that is not true at all. My cycle cost as much as Dr. B. You didn't pay OOP at Cornell so you wouldn't actually know their "real" rates. In fact Cornell didn't tell me that it would be less until the moment I went to pay. I had to contain myself so the others in the waiting room wouldn't look at me strange.

Cornell was about 12K and Dr. B is about 8K with insurance.
I guess it's different OOP. So glad for you. You must have been thinking of spending it on something else!!!!

I pay $11,400 at Cornell and I don't have insurance.....
the $8K or $10K (2 for 2 cycle) is that the price if you have insurance??

I have ZERO $ IVF coverage so that is what I paid OOP for EVERYTHING except the anesthesia and meds. Sonos, blood, ER, ICSI, AH, transfer and beta.

Thank you! So the cycle is "much" cheaper!
Are ER & ET done at his offices and done by Dr B personally?? or is it at a hospital??
I just emailed Dr B and got a response in 20min!!!! I am making an appoinment now.
Blu-ize - Since we are both Cornell patients, maybe Dr B will brings us both luck??? are you cycling now??

No, they are done at American Fertility in NYC by the RE's there, not Dr. B. He does, however, call all the shots!

I sure hope so. I'm tired of this ruling my life and every decision I make. I start Lupron Sat when I see him for an antral follie count.
He has the benefit of hindsight. Most people who have cycled somewhere else and choose another doc get pregnant. It's the odds. He says of course if it happens with him he looks golden but it's just the benefit of hindsight and any immune issues getting diagnosed.
