American Girl Store in NYC
I'm thinking of taking my DD to the American Girl Store within the next couple of weeks. She is almost 4 and has a bitty baby. If she wants a real AG doll, I would buy it for her, but I feel like she would just be more interested in the bitty baby items. Do they have a lot of clothes and accessories for the bitty babies? I plan on making reservations for lunch too. Anything else to do in the store? How long do you think we'll actually stay in the store? Thanks!

American Girl Store in NYC
They have a lot of stuff for the Bitty Babys. She is too young for the regular dolls IMO. We spent like 2 hours there when DD1 was 2 - we got her a bitty baby, looked around the rest of the store, and did the tea. DD1 is now also almost 4 - I have 2 American Girl dolls from when I was young and she isn't interested in them yet.

American Girl Store in NYC
My DD has had the larger dolls since she was 4. In fact, we went there for her 4th birthday, and she picked out Kanani. She had the Bitty Babies also, and twins, and she still loves all of them at age 8. There is a great selection of Bitty Baby items on the top floor. The meal is cute, but definitely don't do the tea version of the meal. The food isn't that great. We enjoy the lunch and dinner though. I would plan for a couple of hours at least.
